As the name and tagline somewhat suggest, One Touch is the fastest way to bet in-play. After a total of 99 design iterations (I kid you not) and rounds of user testing, a contrasting colour scheme and simple layout was carefully chosen, so it was apparent to the user they had switched betting mode. Once launched, the percentage of in-play betting increased dramatically - making Paddy a very happy man indeed!
Based on user research and analytics, we discovered the Bet Receipts were the most frequently visited pages, yet they looked very tired and dated. My role was to strip it back and give it a more streamlined typographic layout, removing details that weren't necessary. I also had to keep in mind the enormous data limitations and how it's fed into the app through the back end. The result was a very clear layout, displaying only the information that was needed.
